Why This Library Exists

fomo's own help center is live and well-maintained, unlike some platforms in this space whose documentation has gone dark. That's not the gap. The gap is that what it says keeps changing, fomo rewrote its Solana fee schedule three times between 2026-08-08 and 2026-08-20, and every review we found repeats the 0.50% headline without running the math on what a small trade actually costs. What fomo Costs, in One Paragraph

Every figure here comes from fomo's help center, checked 2026-08-20. fomo charges 0.50% per trade as standard and 0.05% on select major tokens, with Solana priced in four bands by order size: a flat 0.10 USDC under 5 USDC, 2% from 5 to 47.50 USDC, a flat 0.95 USDC from 47.50 to 190 USDC, then 0.50%. That is what turns a $10 trade into an effective 2% cost rather than 0.5%. Ethereum is listed at 0.50% plus network fees, which fomo passes through rather than covering. A referral link brings the standard rate down to 0.45%, permanently, applied automatically from signup. A perp opened in fomo routes to Hyperliquid through a builder code, and fomo adds roughly 0.05% on top of what Hyperliquid charges. The full arithmetic is in fomo Fees Explained.
