Why This Library Exists

fomo's own help center is live and well-maintained, unlike some platforms in this space whose documentation has gone dark. That's not the gap. The gap is that fomo's Terms of Service and its help center don't always agree, and every review we found repeats the 0.50% headline fee without running the math on what the $0.95 minimum actually costs on a small trade. What fomo Costs, in One Paragraph

fomo charges 0.50% per trade standard, 0.05% on select major tokens, plus a $0.95 flat minimum on Solana orders under 200 USDC -- meaning a $10 trade actually costs 9.5%, not 0.5%. Ethereum adds network gas on top. A referral link brings the standard rate down to 0.45%, permanently, applied automatically from signup. Perps route to Hyperliquid through a builder code, adding roughly 0.05% on top of Hyperliquid's own fee. The full arithmetic is in fomo Fees Explained.
