Is the “50% off” referral claim real?

Search for fomo referral codes and you will find posts advertising discounts well above the documented 10%. A common one claims “50% off trading fees for life,” usually pointing at a domain that is not fomo.family.

We read fomo's Terms of Service and its referral help-center article on 2026-08-14, and re-read the fee article on 2026-08-20 after fomo changed it, and found one referral discount documented on both dates, at 10%. Nothing there describes a higher tier. So treat an offer above that as outdated, exaggerated for clicks, or not a fomo link at all, and check the domain reads fomo.family before you enter payment details or connect a wallet.

What do we earn if you use our link?

When you sign up through our link, fomo pays us 25% of the trading fees you generate, a figure the same referral article states directly. That comes out of fomo's own share of the fee, so it is not deducted from your discount and does not raise what you pay. Sign up without any link and fomo keeps that portion instead.

We are saying this plainly because the alternative is worse. Search results for fomo referral codes are full of posts that never mention the incentive at all.
