If you searched for a fomo airdrop because someone mentioned one, or because a site offered to let you claim one, here's what we found: no token, and no announced plan for one, as of 14 August 2026.
We found no fomo token and no airdrop announcement on fomo's own channels as of 14 August 2026. What does exist, documented in fomo's help center, is a referral program worth a 10% trading-fee discount. Some third-party content mixes the two up and calls it "points" or "airdrop farming." If a site offers to let you claim a fomo token, we can't verify it, and connecting a wallet to find out is the expensive way to check.
What we actually checked
On 14 August 2026 we went through fomo's blog, its help center and its X account (@fomo, not the dormant @tryfomo handle) looking for any mention of a token, a points program or an airdrop. We found none, in either direction: no announcement of one, and no statement ruling one out. What people are actually referring to when they say "fomo points"
fomo runs a referral program: a 10% trading-fee discount for the referred user and 25% of their fees paid to the referrer, both documented in fomo's help center and covered in our referral code guide. Some third-party content describes this as a "points" or "airdrop farming" system. Checking on 14 August 2026, we found no accumulating point balance in fomo's own materials and nothing linking the referral program to a future token claim. It reads as a fee discount and nothing more.
Before you connect a wallet to any claim site
Since we can't find a fomo token, any website asking you to "check eligibility" or "claim your fomo airdrop" by connecting your wallet is worth treating as hostile until you've proved otherwise. We've documented at least two impersonation sites in our security guide, one of them a wallet-drainer phishing page that copied fomo's design closely enough to be convincing. If you land on something like that, don't connect anything, and check the domain reads exactly fomo.family.

Shipping without a token is common among trading apps in this category, not something specific to fomo.

Phantom both run widely used products, and as of 14 August 2026 we found no token issued by either. Whether an app has a token tells you nothing about whether it works or whether the company behind it is real.
