The Fee Math Nobody

I'm Concept211, and I write everything on FomoAppGuide. I've been trading Solana memecoins since 2024, using fomo alongside Moonshot, Phantom and a handful of desktop terminals. I also build automated trading tooling, which is why the pages here about fees, custody and fill quality read the way they do.

Why this site exists

fomo's own help center is real and current, unlike some platforms in this space whose documentation has quietly gone dark. That's not the problem. The problem is what fomo's help center and its Terms of Service say when you actually read both: the $0.95 minimum fee, stated without qualification in the Terms and scoped to small Solana orders in the help center, is the kind of contradiction that never survives into a review. Every “fomo review” site we found repeats the 0.50% headline and moves on. None of them ran the math on what a $10 trade actually costs.

So that's the gap this site fills: the numbers fomo itself publishes, worked all the way through, with a source link on every figure. Not marketing copy rewritten in a different order, and not speculation dressed up as fact.

Where the facts come from

Two sources, and the site labels which one a given number came from:

• fomo's Terms of Service, at fomo.family/terms. The legally binding document, and the highest-confidence source for anything it states without qualification.
• fomo's help center, at help.fomo.family. More detailed and more specific in most places -- and where it disagrees with the Terms, which happens on the fee minimum, we quote both rather than pick one.

How this site makes money

Referral links. When you sign up to fomo through our referral link, fomo pays us 25% of the trading fees you generate. Nothing you do on the platform costs more because of it.

What you get in return is a real, documented discount, and I want to be exact about the number because plenty of sites round it up:

• Sign up with no referral code and your standard trading fee is 0.50%.
• Sign up through a referral link and it drops to 0.45%, permanently, applied automatically to every trade.

That rate is decided the moment you create your account -- fomo's help center is explicit that a code cannot be added or changed afterward. The referral page covers the mechanics, and the fee calculator turns the difference into a dollar figure for your own trade size.

Some pages also carry affiliate links to hardware wallets, tax software and portfolio trackers. Same rule: we earn a commission, your price does not change, and every recommendation on the trader's stack carries an explicit note about who it is wrong for.

What you will not find here

• Invented perks. Some sites advertise “50% off fomo fees for life.” The documented rate, from fomo's own help center, is 10%. We publish the real number, not the one that sounds better.
• Features that aren't confirmed live. fomo's marketing references copy trading; its help center does not document it as an existing feature. We say so plainly instead of assuming the marketing copy is accurate.
• Silence about the bad parts. The $0.95 minimum fee on small Solana trades. The 2x markup on perps versus trading Hyperliquid direct. What actually happens to your key security the moment you export a wallet. Those all have pages here.
• Airdrop speculation. There is no fomo token and no confirmed airdrop. We say that in those words instead of farming the search traffic around it.
