fomo on Robinhood Chain: What It Is and How to Trade It

fomo logo - social crypto trading app fomo added a sixth chain in July 2026: Robinhood Chain. Here's what that actually means, and how it fits into an app that already covered five networks.

Robinhood Chain is a separate network from Robinhood's own brokerage app. fomo just added support for trading assets on it, the same way it already supported Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Monad and Ethereum. No bridging, no separate account, no extra setup.

What changed, and when

fomo announced Robinhood Chain support on July 9, 2026. Per fomo's own release, the chain works inside the app exactly like the ones already there: you don't move funds through a bridge or hold a separate balance for it. fomo describes its wallet model as "one balance, every chain," and Robinhood Chain slots into that same balance instead of sitting off to the side.

That brings fomo's chain count to six: solana logo Solana, base logo Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Ethereum, and now Robinhood logo - broker offering crypto and perps Robinhood Chain.

What Robinhood Chain actually is

Robinhood Chain is a blockchain network launched by the trading platform Robinhood, built to issue and settle tokenized assets. It is not the Robinhood brokerage app, and fomo is not affiliated with Robinhood. fomo added the ability to discover and trade tokens that live on that network, the same way it already handles tokens on Solana or Base.

Two different things share the name

"Robinhood" the brokerage app and "Robinhood Chain" the network are related (Robinhood built both), but trading Robinhood Chain assets through fomo has nothing to do with your Robinhood brokerage account, if you have one. They're separate products.

How to trade it on fomo

  1. Update the fomo app to the latest version. Robinhood Chain support requires it.
  2. Open the home screen and use the token discovery feed as normal; verified, trending, and newly launched tokens across all six chains, including Robinhood Chain, show up in the same list.
  3. Trade with the same one-tap "slide to buy" flow you'd use on any other chain, funded from your existing fomo balance.

There's no separate deposit step and no new wallet address to manage. It uses the same account and balance as the rest of the app.

Where this fits with the rest of fomo

Robinhood Chain arrived about a month after fomo's perpetual futures launch on June 11, 2026 (see our perps guide), part of a broader push to widen what's tradeable inside the app beyond memecoins. It follows the same pattern fomo has used with every chain it's added: no new account, no bridge, one balance.
